Taiwanese telecommunications giant HTC has announced a $10,000 online CS:GO tournament for teams based in North America. After recently becoming a sponsor of Cloud9 and Team Liquid, HTC is looking to take its support of esports to a whole new level by hosting its own tournament, called the HTC Reborn Invitational. Seven teams from across the United States plus Keyd Stars, who are currently residing in Los Angeles, will be facing off this weekend for their share of the $10,000 prize purse.
The tournament, which will use a best-of-three, single-elimination format, will be streamed live on HTC esports' Twitch channel, with FACEIT duo Daniel "DDK" Kapadia and James "JZFB" Bardolph taking viewers through all the action. Below you can find the full timetable for the tournament:
