Astralis have progressed to Group C's upper bracket final at DreamHack Masters Malmö 2016 after beating CSGL 16-9 on Mirage. Starting out on the CT side, CSGL won the pistol round and the following two anti-ecos to take a 3-0 lead, but when Astralis bought up, the impetus of the game changed completely as the Danish team picked up three rounds in a row to restore parity. CSGL then regained the lead, courtesy of an ace from Michał "MICHU" Müller, but Astralis hit back right after to reset the economy of the Polish team. Until the end of the half, CSGL would pick up just one more round as Astralis were simply far too hot to handle, securing a 10-5 half-time lead.
Astralis picked up where they left off and won the pistol round as CT thanks to a quad kill from Finn "karrigan" Andersen, only to be caught off-guard by CSGL in an eco round, with Mikołaj "mouz" Karolewski winning a 1vs2 clutch. The Polish team went on a great run and reduce the gap to just two rounds, but Astralis were not going to let a comeback happen and upped the pace, winning five rounds in a row en route to a 16-9 finish.
